Challenging but fun
Dover Castle is a great place to to run, such a lovely place to be and everyone is always so encouraging.
A great way to get back into running.
Nice run but lots of hills so not good for beginners but good course very friendly Marshall’s it was hard work as have not run much this year but would do it again and be better next time
Nice race with a nice medal just hard work with the hills but lovely view and good history
Fun and challenging
This was my first visit to Dover Castle. Even with no foreknowledge of the route or layout, the signage and the team kept me on track from pre-race through to the finish. Positive attitudes all around and a truly unique venue. My only piece of advice is to fit in some hill training a few weeks in advance so the inclines don’t surprise or overwhelm on the day.
I completed the Christmas run here so knew what I was letting myself in for. Lots of ‘steep bits’ - great idea to reverse the route, just to confuse us?!
Extremely fabulous location, very well run. Very hilly so not great for beginners
Course packed with history
Unique and undulating route, fab marshals, nice medal
Great organisation, superb historic course
Challenging route, but a great experience!
The turnout seemed strangely low for such a good event.
Tough well run & enjoyable event. Nice medal
Marshalling much better this time compared to Christmas. Tough route but great to run round the castle . Thanks to the very friendly Marshalls
