This was always one of my favourite races of the year so, even with a bit o a different route, it was great to see it back again. Hoping it stays as an annual race.

Beware 2 steep hills, but on the bright side, what goes up must come down

Great medal

This was a new course for me, and it packed a punch. Just the right amount of difficulty on this course with ‘those’ two hills!! :)
But you’ll get to cool off your weary heels in the flooded roads, guaranteed in February.
This was a lovely little run, however, it would have been better still had we gone past the windmill.

A great event which is well organised, and suitably marshalled. The ‘new’ route added an extra hill in the first 2k but the run to 6k was easy and pleasant. Given the recent wet weather, a few puddles were expected but the one at 4.5k was deep and wide. But fun!! The steep downhill at the 5k mark is a precursor to the uphill at 6k. But once you’re up you have a nice flat run to the finish. It was great to see Thom and Josh with their amazing cakes.
