Sporting Events UK
ran the first one - just keeps improving
Excellent as always and run bang on time.
There was only one vendor this year, more food and drink options would be good.
A great event, very well organised
A great event, I will do it again and will recommend it to others. It was challenging without being too tough, with lovely countryside, pretty villages, and minor roads. Your events are always very well organised. Communication before the event is excellent, as is registration and information on the day. Marshals are always brilliant.
Hills! would not be good for beginners
Hills, but great scenery, friendly atmosphere and well organised.
Great event, lovely scenery, good atmosphere, helpful and friendly organisers with supportive Marshall’s. Water stations well supplied and lovely medal - shame no date on it tho. Hopefully be back for it next year!!
Well marshalled, friendly and fun
Overall a good race
Lovely scenery, well organised and really enjoyable. Little bit hilly but not the worst you’ll find. Will definitely be back next year.
Well organised event as usual
Well organised, wonderful route 5K the scenery was lovely a bit to hilly for me at the moment ,all Marshall’s where excellent as usual.
A great run if you love a hill or two
A great route for my first 5km event; slight hills to overcome but that just added to my sense of achievement! Loved it.
A fantastic event where everyone was so encouraging
Loved it. Tougher than expected but the heat didn’t help. Thanks to all organisers
Good scenic route through open countryside. Well organised.
Enjoyable but hilly
Beautiful scenery and great support. My only slight disappointment, the pottery medal itself is lovely but the lanyard disappointing. It would have been nice to have 'Wingham' and the year on the lanyard. Would definitely do this race again though!
Great challenging route with a friendly crowd
Loved this run, will definitely be doing it again. The Marshalls were all fantastic and there was plenty of water. The medal is gorgeous too. The only thing which annoyed me is that we were not meant to be wearing headphones, especially as we were running on country roads which were not closed to traffic. However, quite a few runners were still wearing headphones and I witnessed one runner not her a car approaching from behind. I wish they could stress the no headphones thing or the Marshalls could notice it along the route. But the organisation was brilliant.
Brilliant fun and friendly
A scenic, enjoyably undulating route and a nice locally-made medal. Well organised.
Very hilly but very well organised, lovely staff and fantastic marshalls!!!
Very friendly helpers and marshals
